Slytherin Scarf

Here's the Slytherin Scarf! I don't have a picture for this one, but go look at the picture for the Hufflepuff scarf if you want to get an idea of what this will look like.

Again, for this, I used US size 5 (or 3.75mm) needles and Red Heart yarn (I can't remember exactly which ones), but you can use whatever needles and yarn you want, though you might need to adjust the pattern somewhat. The scarf is worked in garter stitch, with plenty of nice loose ends from the color work for you to weave in when you finish, so you'll need a tapestry needle for both that and the fringe.

In the picture, you work left to right on the right side, which you start on. Each square represents two stitches on the right side, and the wrong side is just the same thing in reverse.

When you finish the pattern, work the stripes for however long you want by knitting six rows of green, six rows of silver, and repeating. Start with green immediately after the pattern and end with green.

Do the fringe after blocking. Cut 50 or more 13" pieces of silver yarn. Double one up and feed the doubled end through your tapestry needle. Pull it through a stitch, but not all the way. Take the tapestry needle off, feed the ends through the loop, and pull. It should make a loop with the two ends trailing. Repeat that with all 24 stitches on either side of the scarf.

You don't have to pay for this pattern, but please don't sell what you make.
